Layered Curriculum Worksheet (Chapter 5 Ratios, Rates, and Proportions)
C Layer : : Basic knowledge, understanding.
B Layer : : Application or manipulation of the information learned in the C layer.
A Layer : : Critical Thinking and Analysis.
Required assignments: For each lesson that is taught in a chapter you will be given the choice of two assignments to receive your daily homework points(10 pts). You must do one, but not both. Your choices will consist of a homework assignment from the book (20-25 problems) or a smaller homework assignment from the book (10 problems) and a 5-6 question quiz that will be given the day after the homework is assigned. If you chose the longer homework assignment it will be your responsibility to grade the homework from the board before class begins. You will then explain to the teacher how to complete one of the problems that the teacher chooses at random. If you chose the smaller homework assignment it will be your responsibility to turn in your homework the next day and complete the 5 or 6 question quiz (you must make a 75% or better on the quiz).
