Layer C:  45 Points

1.  Create flashcards for the following:  Exponent, Power, Base, Negative Exponent, Monomial, Standard Form, Scientific Notation, Square Root, Perfect Square, Radical Sign, Cube Root, Perfect Cube, Irrational Number, Real Numbers, Pythagorean Theorem (5 Points) 
*Do Not Spend Hours Doing This For 5 Points.

2.  Create a definition, an example, and a real-world example for the following:  Exponent, Power, Base, Negative Exponent, Monomial, Standard Form, Scientific Notation, Square Root, Perfect Square, Radical Sign, Cube Root, Perfect Cube, Irrational Number, Real Numbers, Pythagorean Theorem (15 Points)

3.  Make a poster showing how to convert numbers from Standard Form to Scientific Notation and from Scientific Notation to Standard Form (5-20 Points)

4.  Make a poster showing how to convert numbers written in Standard Form to Exponential Form and how to convert numbers in Exponential Form to Standard Form. (5-20 Points)

5.  Make a poster showing the Order of Operations and several examples applying the Order of Operations. (5-20 Points)

Layer B:  70 Points

1.  Textbook:  Do as many or as few as you would like.  Maximum of 5 points for each question.  Just because it is completed does not mean that you will receive 5 points.  Question difficulty, quality of answer, and other factors will be taken into consideration when determining the points given.

2.  Complete the Chapter Review, Pages 180-182, 1-71 all.  (30 Points)

3.  Complete the Inquiry Lab for a maximum of 15 points.  Quality of work and other factors will be taken into consideration when determining the points given.  Pages 166-167.

4.  Make a poster showing Perfect Squares and Perfect Cubes.  Explain how you determine Perfect Squares and Perfect Cubes.  Use the radical sign in your explanation.  (5-20 Points)
